Christa Theret Parents;- Christa Theret, who is just 21, is one of those actors who has benefitted from luck without going through a series of auditions to get apart. She is just 11 years old when she is discovered by a casting director while playing basketball on the school’s court. She made her feature film debut in Costa-Gavras’ Le Couperet a few days later, with José Garcia. Christa Theret made her Cannes debut with Lola Doillon’s Et toi; it’s qui? She picked for the Un Certain Regard category and the Caméra d’Or a few years later, and for just her second part.
Christa Théret had to grow up without her father since he couldn’t witness her success with LOL. When she was recast at the age of 11 in Costa-Le Gavras’ Couperet as the daughter of the principal role portrayed by José Garcia, he saw that the comic virus had infected her. She then went on to star in Lola Doillon’s 2007 feature Et toi, t’es sûr qui? Before bursting in Lisa Azuelos’s LOL (Laughing Out Loud).
