Both Frankie and David are retired sportsmen who recognize the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for their hearts by engaging in regular physical activity. Frankie has taken up Wu Shu, a form of Kung Fu, while David regularly cycles for two to three hours. The organization does a lot of research into vascular difficulties, which are the root cause of dementia and strokes, and funds a lot of fantastic projects, including the development of stents, which save lives.

Now that they’ve both retired from their sports, the pair devotes much of their time to charity activities, including a longstanding commitment to the British Heart Foundation and its annual Heart Hero Awards. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) holds an annual ceremony to honor extraordinary people, which was done virtually this year.
