Jane Kereama, a food industry personality from Porthleven, Cornwall, who died in June at 46, received several accolades from across the world after her passing. Her death has wreaked havoc on her family and friends in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Jane and Jude were more proud of being married and being a mother to Joe, who is now 12 years old than they were of their restaurants receiving awards.

Throughout, she kept a calm demeanor and a brave demeanor. She was never defeated. When she explained it to her, she simply said that she want strength to be a fantastic wife and mother – as she had always prioritized.

“She has always been extraordinarily giving, and it is unjust for her to suffer.

“She was just a whirlwind of activity. She was kind and complimentary to others; we were just close friends.”

As a result of my upbringing in New Zealand, I found myself in a country surrounded by water. When I arrived in the UK 19 years ago, I intended to stay for just a few years. Then I met the woman who would become my wife.

We first resided in London but made regular weekend journeys to North Cornwall to see her mum. I’m eager to descend. We’d surf in the morning, and then I’d make a nice lunch. I always felt better after mackerel fishing, mussel collection, sandcastle building, and beach rugby.

Returning to Porthleven and reopening our restaurant, Kota, was like returning to the sea with our feelings. I wake up each day with a view of the boats since I live above a restaurant right on the harbor.

Porthleven’s citizens have a genuine affection for the place. Numerous residents approached me and expressed their gratitude for my inclusion in the Great British Menu. That is the site.
