She grew up with her brother Shawn Hardin, who is now the CEO of the web browser firm Flock.’ While Melora was born in Houston, she spent most of her youth in San Francisco, California. Before enrolling in and graduating from Sarah Lawrence College, she attended Patrick Henry Junior High School and Ulysses S. Grant High School.
